Very lightweight and easily absorbs into my skin with no greasy feeling after. It has a faint fresh clean scent as well so it's not overwhelming. Thus far my skin does feel more taught after application.

2.5% Retinol Bakuchiol Serum
I hadn't heard of bakuchiol before but apparently it is a plant extract that is supposed to offer the same benefits of retinol but without the side effects. As someone who has used retinol before, over time it does tend to dry me out (even though I lean towards oily skin), not so with this serum! Blending retinol with bakuchiol, squalene, hyaluronic acid, and meadowfoam seed oil has left my skin feeling soft and hydrated in the mornings. As I've only used this for less than a week and retinol (and I assume bakuchiol) tend to show results in the long term, I can't really speak to that. However, I can say in the short term I've used it, it hasn't caused me to break out and it doesn't seem to be clogging any pores either so I'm waking up with clear, soft, skin. The only possible downside is that this has a very strong lavender scent to it (I'm okay with it, but it did take some getting used to). Overall, if you're looking to try a retinol or have used it but found it too drying and/or irritating, I'd say give this a try!

This serum is amazing! I love how lightweight it is and that it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or sticky residue like similar products I've tried. It's incredibly hydrating and leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth. Not only that, my skin feels firmer and the fine lines around my eyes have greatly diminished. It is smells amazing!

I have a lot of skin aging from wrinkles and fine lines to large pores and blemishes that just don’t look all that great from my teenage years. I was a victim of pimples and my face shows it. Anyways, I got this product to see if it can reduce or at least make some of these problems blend in together to just look better. I used the product for ten days and followed instructions. There is little to no smell and upon application there really is not a lot of sensation unless to say it feels cold. After ten days the pores looked reduced in size. The fine lines look gone and some of the larger wrinkled areas look reduced in their appearance. I am pleased with this product and will continue using it anticipating further good results.

My skin tends to have large pores and my skin is starting to age. I have been using this product for about a week now and I can already start to see a difference. my skin is looking smoother and less weathered. Also, the pores are starting to shrink down. I also think that this product just smells wonderful especially when compared to other products out there.

This works really well. It absorbs really quickly and provides a nice moisturizing feeling. It has hyaluronic acid which is something I always look for in a serum. First of all, I love the clean and natural ingredients in this serum. To my surprise, my skin responded very well to this retinol alternative. The Skin Care Quiz recommended this cleanser for me - my skin is on the oily side and I wanted something that would help shrink the appearance of my large pores. I use this cleanser every night and it leaves my skin feeling clean and not overly dried out. It has a nice light smell and is not overly abrasive. I love the way this serum (Instanatural 2.5% Retinol Bakuchiol Serum) smells. I can smell the mint and ginger. It isn’t a strong smell but faint and lovely. . After a week of using it I like how much brighter and awake my face looks like, my recent freckles from doing yard work out in the sun, and it has helped smooth my textured skin, and I’m really impressed with how much tighter/smooth my pores are which is a huge problem i battle with. I’ve tried many types of serums by this brand (I have I think 4) and I’ve loved each one, I think the price is very reasonable, and there’s no strong scents, and I haven’t had any reactions or sensitivity thus far using any.

When I saw that this brand was coming out with a Bakuchiol Retinol serum I could not wait to try it. Retinol is usually very harsh and takes getting use to in some cases people have a hard time with it. With Bakuchiol you get all the same benefits as Retinol but it will not be as harsh on the skin. After using for awhile I noticed my pores and fine lines becoming less noticeable. Like when I use retinol I use it at night and in the morning my skin has a nice soft feel as well as looking smoother. Overall it is a great alternative to Retinol if you have problems with that then this is something you should try if you want the extra skincare boost.
