Value for money = Okay
Size of group = Excellent
For first part (11 people), too big for anime part (23)
Our guide spoke great English, answered all questions to her best ability, and gave us great insights to Japan

Need to make a bigger effort to have non-smoking buses. Should tell people about overnight bag so can prepare better and beforehand. Should tell people that will need to go up and down stairs so if knee problems they can be prepared. When we went to Akihabara, most stores were closed. When in Fuji TV, too late for tour. So try to arrange time to visit when things are open.

All day free in Fukuoka - we walked a big circle to temples and shrines and shopping and restaurant. Post stay 2 extra days in Tokyo to just freely tour all that's there.

We initially booked for the Anime Fair convention but that experience was far too crowded to be worthwhile. Everything else after more than made up for it though.
Your California staff was able to answer our emails promptly while we were away and Hide-san worked tirelessly to help us enjoy our experiences.
Overall we had a fantastic experience and if we ever return to Japan again, we would be happy to use Japan Deluxe Tours again.

Anime Japan Tour | Grand Tour15 Days
I didn't get to see Shibuya on the free day. I wish that was included on one of the other days.
The anime convention offers a free tour to foreign tourists but it started at 12 and didn't end until after the meeting time to return with the guides to see the Gundam.
We were more worried about not finding our way back to the hotel on our own than missing the Gundam and had to leave the tour of the convention early.
It would be nice to have communication between the Japan Deluxe Tour and Anime tour guides and set up an optional tour and extend the meeting time to go back to the gundam to accommodation for those taking the tour of the convention.
I have been on many tours before and this was the first time that I had to switch groups of people and guides. You just get to know and bond with someone then either you or they are switched to another bus.
Clicks are already formed towards the end of a tour so it makes it difficult to find a place to fit in.

The organization of the tour was excellent. The places we visited were very interesting and beautiful.
If there would be some way to cut the long bus rides would be excellent.
Everything was clean and in order. The people were so beautiful. I loved my visit. I felt safe here.
A little more speaking of different languages so we could understand when shopping.
I will truly treasure my visit to Japan. Thank you for making it so enjoyable.
