So I bought this for my bf (20yrs) for Christmas and searched long and hard for a realistic hoop. After he unwrapped it and set it up I can honestly say I'm really glad I didn't go with a cheaper version. The rim and backboard feels and looks legit. Secretly I love playing with this as well and I've never written a review for anything in my life, but this deserves the praise. Not to mention the fantastic customer service I received since it said sold out online, but after a phone call to the company they shipped one out to me. This was honestly the best present I could have given my boyfriend and I'll probably buy the newer version for my brother down the line.

very sturdy and once you put it in the wall its not coming out! althogh there was one problem... the washer under the die sping was bending upward and that made the rim looser whitch resulted in the rim even flexing on my shots. besides that, great! best mini hoop i have ever had!

I have two boys (12 and 14 years old) and recently upgraded from the smaller hoop to the medium size. I purchased the 12" but it was a bit too big and returned it for the medium. FANTASTIC customer service!!! Boys and their friends love it! Warning: My husband had to patch up the dry wall from aggressive play. This time around, we have painted plywood behind it to prevent mishaps. :-)

I have two boys and they(and all their friends) have used this thing for 5 years and it is still in great shape. I had to increase the size of the lag bolts a couple of years ago from them hanging on the rim, but other than that, this is the best "toy" for the money I have ever bought.

Great goal, better for kids that are younger than 10. No complaints, but I am going to upgrade to the mini pro xtreme now that I'm 14.

Wicked Awesome hoop! I have finally found a quality indoor hoop that is well worth the money. This wall mounted set up can not be beat. It looks great, works great, well constructed and is easy to install. Well worth the money. I am a frugal spender, some even call me cheap, so when I first saw the price I was a little apprehensive but when I received the hoop I could not have been more impressed. You can not ask for a better hoop. It is a USA made product that is great quality. Well worth the money! Our family loves this product and have hours of enjoyment shooting hoops and playing a little family friendly 2 on 2.

A tip to anyone buying this...Buy extra basketballs!
Buy basketballs for however many kids are going to be playing on it . My 3 kids love it so much that they spend a lot of time arguing over the one basketball. So if you have 3 kids I suggest you order 3 basketballs. (Maybe 4 so mom or dad has their own and they aren't fighting with the kids for their own basketball.) Also if you have younger aged kids or are installing this in a toy room near windows I would suggest the foam balls. The foam balls are great quality as well and they make less noise in the house.

* Also ladies if you are entertaining getting this for your sport enthusiasts husband. Do it. They will Love it! It's not just a kids toy. If you get this for them they will probably do the dishes and maybe even the laundry. (No guarantee on that part)

The net is exactly what I was looking for. I used it as a replacement for a small indoor over the door basket and it is a perfect fit.

We absolutely love this basketball hoop. You must install it on a stud in your wall but it was extremely easy! It also came incredibly fast! It has been so much fun to have. We love it!

Good little basketball

I WAS SKEPTICAL OF THE PRICE FOR A BASKETBALL GOAL OF THIS SIZE, BUT LET ME TELL YOU THIS IS NOT AN ORDINARY GOAL. THIS IS A WELL BUILT PRODUCT THAT MY TWO SONS USE EVERYDAY. YOU COULD NOT BUILD A BETTER GOAL TO TAKE THE PUNISHMENT MY KIDS DISH OUT.

My youngest son received this hoop for Christmas. He "researched" for 6 months -the best hoop- and finally his dream hoop arrived. I have 3 sons and I can say they have a been having a blast with this hoop. Mom..well that's another story-- wish he got the foam ball!!! Truly is the best hoop we've had - and we've had many..Lets hope the walls hold up as well as the hoop!!!

My son researched this product on the web and we followed the video for modifying the rim with heavy angle iron reinforcement and upgraded shoulder bolt and die spring. I am proud to say my wife can even hang on this thing. My son loves it... great product very pleased

Please note, with our upgraded design, typically no modifications are needed unless you are over 200 pounds. -Justin

My kids...and their dad, love this goal. It is perfect for an inside game of B-ball. It's well built and looks the part. I wanted a goal slightly bigger than the over the door junk (with the small balls that you can hold in one hand) OH and that never lasts anyway. THIS IS SOOOO MUCH BETTER and WAAAAY NICER. Everybody loves it and shoot hoops on it constantly.

Bought this for my grand son for Christmas as he has had a few of these door hangers before and they just did not hold up as he does get a little rough when he really gets into his ball playing mode lol. But this one was great and I can still see him running up to me and telling me how much he loves it and that the break away goal really works.Well two weeks later still good as new and he is one happy boy.I knew when I purchased it that I was paying a little more than the other goals he had but you know what they say ....you get what you pay for and in this case it holds true.

bought it for my 5 year old whose worn out an old plastic indoor hoop. this is a well made product and lots of fun. i cant get him away from it. excellent hoop. Thanks

I ordered the hoop and the wall mats. Both are excellent and made very well. The hoop was very easy to install and is very sturdy. Customer service was excellent and the shipping was very fast. Would highly recommend this hoop, the mats, and this company in general. Thanks.

i bought this and put it up in my basement. I absolutely love it! installation is easy and the goal is very sturdy. If i had to nitpick, it would be that when you dunk, the screws loosen over a period of time and it needs to be tightened every once in a while. -Thanks for the review! It's always a good idea to give your hoop a tune up after you've played for a while. - Justin
