Mini Pro Xtreme Basketball Hoop Set
I think for the price of this hoop it should come pre assembled.
Although I tried the best i could i couldn't get the metal corners perfectly aligned. The bottom corners are covered with foam rubber but the top has no protection at all. The top corners should also be protected. When playing indoors it's not impossible to come in contact with the top corners (and they can be very sharp). I filed down the edges with a file. For what I paid, I shouldn't have had to do that.
Other than those 2 issues I'm happy with this product.
JustInTymeSports says: While it would be incredibly expensive to ship a hoop this size fully assembled, the backboard comes pre-assembled as does the rim reducing assembly time by a significant amount.

Rock solid miniature version of a pro net. Once solidly attached to wall, rim bounces, backboard bounces etc all sound, feel, and look completely authentic. Children (and me) completely addicted from the moment it went up. Replaces a 'toy' net system - no comparison. THIS IS NOT A TOY![...] Could not be happier with choice of product. Will look for excuses to buy from justintyme again.Michael(Maine)

Mini Pro Xtreme Basketball Hoop Set
Awesome product. I have 2 son's (12 & 8) and a 4 year old daughter. Great for all ages. Assembly was easy and plays just like a regulation basketball rim and backboard. Kids spend hours shooting and playing. Greatest feature is that it sits off the wall so the boys can do reverse layups. I would recommend to anyone if you want as close to an actual basketball court, but in a smaller indoor version. Also, purchased the wall pad which adds a nice touch and helps protect the drywall from marks and holes.

Mini Pro Xtreme Basketball Hoop Set
We love this item for the fact that it facilitates interactions among family members, friends and kids of all ages. Just the other night 6 collegiate kids were over and fun was had by the adults, the college kids AND our preteen-aged kids. Kudos for a great product that isn't a gaming system!

We have owned this hoop for several years. With four boys it is still used all of the time--almost daily. We have it mounted in a bedroom/bonus room above the garage. It fits in perfectly with our high ceilings and wood floors. Our next hoop will definitely be the extreme.

Bought this for my 8 year old son and he LOVES it! We have 8 foot ceilings and hung it in his bedroom with the rim at 6 feet. It's perfect! My four year old daughter is trying her best to shoot, too! Very pleased with this purchase!

Mini Pro Xtreme Basketball Hoop Set
The perfect goal for me and my 11 yr. old to play on in our garage during the winter months. We play every nite on it. It's mounted off the wall 20" (for layups) and 7'-2" (just high enough for him to dunk). Excellent quality - we are rough on it. 7" ball lets you really dribble. Highly recommended!

My husband had to go buy screws to fit the item, the ones that were sent did not fit. I do like it, just wished it was bigger, not as big as I expected. -Sorry to hear about the issue with your screws. Perhaps the tapped plate wasn't cleared properly before shipment. We do have larger size hoops if you're interest in something larger! - Justin

This is a great hoop. A friend turned me on to it and I am very impressed. Easy to mount, great fun. I have twin boys that are 5 years old and they have been playing it every day since I put it up a couple weeks ago. We play 'horse' and other great games. I found a couple different mini basket balls up at [...] that work a little better than the mini basketball that comes with it but that is my only knock against the product. Great Job Justintymesports!
About JustInTymeSports
JustInTymeSports has been manufacturing high quality mini basketball hoops since 1996. The inspiration for this business came from our oldest son, Justin, when he was just 9 years old. He loves sports and he went through a bunch of the cheap plastic hoops that were available at the time. After another one of his backboards broke, he noticed a piece of plexi-glass that I had in the basement. He asked if I would mount his plastic rim to the plexi-glass. He had a group of friends spend the night and they played on that hoop for hours. His friends liked it so much that we began talking about making more...that is how JustInTymeSports was born.
