We received the batteries but that did not help our issue with the receiver. We ended up filling out a repair form and sending in the receiver. Dogtra sent the receiver back to us saying it was repaired but it was not and now we had to send it back again on Monday, April 11th. We only walk our pups using your collars so it is hard not having the receiver. I am hoping they receive it and are able to repair it this time. We really love your collars and have used them for all three of our dogs and recommend them to friends.

Collar works great on my white German Shepard and Deaf Aussie Lab. I purchased the collar to keep my deaf Lab in the yard, out of the neighbors yard, and out of the road. Using this collar my Lab heels off leash and stays by my side. All I really have to do is use the vibrate mode to get her attention. Look up Kelly Blackwell on YouTube she is a eCollar Evangelist with a huge list of video tips. Thanks to Dogtra for making this product available. If you have a deaf dog this is a must have, to let your dog roam your yard off leash.

We got Sarah Lee when she was 6-7 mo old, she is a GSD and Belgium Malinois mix. She was very stubborn and would not come when called, on a leash she was perfect but if she got loose she would not come back into the house until she decided it was time to come back.
A dog trainer suggested I get a "dogtra" the one I got is the 2300NCP Advance. I like it very much and also Sarah Lee likes it,as it turned out all I had to do was use the pager 2 or 3 times, so I don't know if it was the dogtra or Sarah Lee just getting use to her new home but now she will come when called with or without the collar on her and she NOW is one of the best dogs we have ever had.

The safety light was a 'Freebie' when I purchased my DogTra collar. My pooch is a Black Lab mix, and he is very hard to see on moonless nights. I always know where he is, by the white glow of the LED safety light. Most times it looks like a shooting star flying across my yard ;)

I previously owned the Dogtra 1100 and was very happy with it. The 2300 Advance is a great training tool. I train my dog for obedience competition and it is perfect for that. My dog is 62 pounds and the collar transmitter fits well for a dog that size. Range is good. I also like the pager function to perk him up when attention strays. The only con I have is the intensity control knob. It too easily can accidently go up or down while carrying in pocket or on a belt. The 1100 it clicked with each increase/decrease which prevented it from being accidently moved from the original setting.
