I don't usually write reviews because I think everyone is going to have a difference response depending on what they are dealing with. However, as a holistic nutritionist who has a dog with TONS of allergy issues, I wanted to weigh in on this. I LOVE what this company is trying to do and I am excited that they have a salmon recipe, because that will make a bit of difference, however chicken is one of the biggest allergens to dogs, so it kind of negates the rest of the amazing qualities of the food. The other thing that sensitive dogs usually do not respond well to is pea protein. It is quite a challenge to find a good quality dog food that checks all of the boxes. As of yet, no one has done it. There is another company that is AMAZING as far as EXTREMELY low carb (lower than this) and absolutely no grains NOR fillers. I was super excited to find them, however they only have chicken and beef options. If this company made a grain free formula, I would hands down be their favorite customer. I am going to attempt the salmon and hope that it works well enough for my dog. It is nice to see her pancreas responding better since the switch, however her energy levels have gone down and she has way more sinus issues.

Love that I can trust a kibble (for convenience and cost-effectiveness) to be proper food for my girl! It's marginally more expensive than a high quality normal (not low-carbohydrate) kibble, but I feel SO much better about it being her main source of nutrition.

I can only go by my dogs' reactions, but they love it. When I dog sit,my daughter's dogs won't eat their own food 🤣

Finally a food my beagle can tolerate. His allergies have improved greatly and his weight is dropping.

I have 3 dogs, 10 year old Pug, 6 year old Yellow Lab and 2 year old Chocolate Lab. Initially the chicken Ketonatural was for the Yellow to keep his weight down and alleviate the chewing of paws, and now because of the positive results all 3 are now on it. The kibbles are small for the Pug, and in adding water and it becomes a meaty meal for the large dogs. I truly haven’t found a less carb dog food on the market.

I love what Ketona stands for and the quality and care put into their product. I was really hoping my dogs continual itching would improve with this product, but it hasn't. I know this is a good product, and don't think my dogs condition is a result of this product and still believe I am doing something good for my dog with this food for him, but I am utterly overwhelmed with caring for my dog, whom I love, and his constant itching. Have taken my dog to the vet without any improvement or change. Am going into eliminating WiFi in my home, willing to try anything...but so far it's been almost a year and no improvement.

My dog is losing weight which is making his old joints feel better. I wish the kibble was bigger. My dog is 130 pounds. The tiny kibble gets lost in his lips which means kibble all over the floor.

My boy deserves the best! I mix ketona with raw beef organ and he puts it down! I tried many different foods raw and kibble. He didn't like any of them...and picked at them. He is a very high energy GSD and needs a high octane (protein) food source. It's very satisfying to finally find a great dog food.

Rajah has been on Ketona for the last 3 months. We started her on a Ketogenic diet after doing some research and finding out that the seizure issues of both people and animals were diminished on such a plan. Rajah's seizure activity was minimal (about 1 a month), but the vet could not determine a reason for them. We did not want to put her on phenobarbital.. The good news is that she has not had a seizure in the 3 months she has been on this diet. We do continue to give her herbal meds specifically for seizures as well, but she was on these before the Ketona. She does like the food by the way!

This food has helped Buster loose weight and keep healthy and fit.

My diabetic dog eats this food and she does great on it! Its low in carbs and doesnt make her sugar levels go whacky. Her coat is shinier and her energy level is great. Thats a huge deal because she is 10 years old! I highly recommend this food. Bonus: if there are any issues the owner promptly will get back to you. Customer satisfaction at its best.

We started feeding our two Maltese Ketona about three weeks ago. Our babies love it! The kibbles are the perfect size for them. Our little girl has a bad back leg and seems to be feeling better already. We think it’s because she’s lost a little bit of weight which was one of our goals. We plan on continuing this dog food and would recommend it to others.

Nina LOVES all snacks and especially the Ketona liver snacks. The ingredients are pure and healthy, which is hard to come by in a dog treat, yet they're also portable and easy to bring everywhere. Thank you!
