Our miniature dachshund Donald was diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer (histiocytic sarcoma) in October and we were very devastated. He was given an average life expectancy of about another 6 months if we started chemotherapy. In doing research we found a lot of positive stories about dogs with cancer and the Keto diet so I purchased and tried a variety of different foods and this is by far his favorite. It will be 6 months since he was diagnosed tomorrow and while I can’t say the Keto diet is fully the reason, I’m grateful to have found a food he enjoys!

We have a 15 lb Shih-Tzu who is an extremely picky eater and who has tons of skin allergies. We had him on the Ketona Chicken recipe at first, and he lost a few lbs (you can see his waist now!) and gained a lot of energy, but got skin rashes and constant ear infections due to his allergies. SO far so good, all the dogs love the food. I got this for weight-loss and she is very slowly trimming down, but we also are walking her 2 x day. It took a little while for her body to adjust to the food, but she is good now. Lacey and Bettie. Lacey is 14 yrs old and snoozing. Bettie is 3. Lacey always had to eat her food having Bettie watch, then reluctantly eat her bowl. Now Bettie is all in, and eats immediately.
