My shihtzu was diagnosed with diabetes this year and the vet recommended 2 big brands of dog food. Doing my own research for food for diabetic dogs I came across with Keto. I made the comparison on ingredients, and Keto had a much better content of protein, and quality of ingredients. I gave it a try, and my dog has recovered fantastic and he loves it. My 12 year old poodle has cancer, and I have read a lot of studies suggesting that feeding your dog a keto diet can starve the cancer tumors of sugar.
