It was not made clear that this was a paid service until after I spent an hour editing my PDF, effectively trapping me into paying. This is not an ethical practice.

Or pay for our 14 day trial (for $1.45 or $1.95) to get your file immediately, depending on the plan you choose. The $1.95 option gives you full access and unlimited conversion for 14 days. After trying the product, if you do not wish to continue, call or go online to cancel before the trial ends or change the subscription to a different plan. If no cancellation or change of plan is made, then you move over to our auto-renewing base subscription plan for $39.95.
