The day it arrived, I compared it to Elijah Craig and Bell Meade. I believe that the Merica bourbon fell just a bit below the Elijan Craig for smoothness. A step ahead of the Belle Meade. Merica is a pretty good bourbon. Especially for ageing a minimum of 6 months. I especially like the idea of supporting our veterans in such a smooth, full-bodied way. For the same money, and no shipping costs, I will be sticking with Elijah Craig, Bulliet Rye or Dickel 12 in the future, though.
