I would probably put these at a 4.5 vs a 5 if that was an option, but I really like these shorts. I got a pair of shorts similar to the boyfriend destruct short in a Stitch Fix over a year ago, and they are probably my favorite article of clothing in my wardrobe. They are so crazy comfortable. I bought two of the Corine Walking Shorts, in white and in Belmont Bleach, and they are nearly as comfortable, but not quite perfect like that pair, as they are more fitted. I did get one size up from the pair I got in my fix but they fit almost identically in the waist, so I am guessing the Stitch Fix pair are a bit vanity sized. The length is good and they are flattering to my legs. The white pair does show through if you wear darker underwear, so don't do that!
I also have THREE pairs of Liverpool jeans or pants. They all fit wonderfully and have worn well without too much fading or aging. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this brand again and again.
