Hi Kathy, sometimes this can happen depending on the wash of the denim. We suggest mixing white vinegar with cold water and soaking your jeans for 30-60 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cold water. This pants are awesome! I love the kick flare silhouette, but I wear a 14/16. Usually when I find this type of pants in my size, they fit over my butt, but the legs are for someone with toothpick legs and they end up looking like skinny ankle pants over my muscular calves. These work! The legs are proportionate to the booty! Finally a kick flare that actually looks like a kick flare on me!!!! More colors please...
