I ordered a size 8, and my size is anywhere from an 8 or 10 depending on brand. There is so much stretch to these, they still run a little large. By the looks of the model, I had the impression they would be a closer fit to my calves/legs, but they aren't at all. I am disappointed in that. I would say these are high rise, not mid-rise. They are made well, but I wouldn't buy them again.
