The gray fiberglass tubing with black fins and nosecone look awesome without paint. I ordered a longer motor mount to accommodate an Aero Pack tail cone and two extra centering rings so I could injected fillets on both sets of fins.

I made several Black Friday purchases last year, including the Bomarc, which I have wanted for some time, and this Phoenix. The kits have been very straight forward in assembly, though I have been amazed at how much lead has been required in the nose cones. All three kits are now awaiting a high-power launch even this coming Thanksgiving

Went off without a hitch.

It was an awesome day in St. Albans Vermont to attempt my NAR level one. I chose a Cesaroni I354-15A with ejection charge trimmed to 10 seconds. The model performed flawlessly achieving an altitude to 1700ft, and returned to earth without any damage. Next stop...the paint booth!

My first high power kit. Purchased the 54mm version and 38mm adaptor. Just got my L1 using another rocket. Plan first flight with small "H" motor and motor ejection. Then a larger "H" or "I" and dual deployment. Hoping down the road to fly on 54mm for L2

My first high powder rocket kit. Made a few mistakes while learning the ropes, but managed to correct them. Getting the altimeter bay set up has been the most difficult so far. Nice kit to build.

Great kit, had a lot of fun making the rocket. Included a homebrew radio/gps in the nosecone. Was used for L3 certification launch. Will be hung up in a local auto service center (The-CIA is the company name).

Great level 3 rocket. Successfully flown at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah for my Level 3 certification.

Great kit. Fun build. Good flight (considering some tracking electronics after almost losing it!).

I use the AT K990 DM motor to send up my 25lb rocket at the Hellfire 23 located at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.

Good quality rockets. Easy and smooth construction.

The kit was very well made. I selected the 54mm mount, so there was little room between the mount and body tubes. I pre-epoxied the centering rings to the mount, then slid it in with epoxy pre-packed where the fins were. I pushed more epoxy into the fin slots. The fin slots were too tight, but I opened them up with a small file very easily. I used a fin jig I designed and 3D printed for fin alignment. After the epoxy cured I did the fin to body fillets. This ended up being VERY strong.

I flew this at Hellfire 23 at the Boneville Salt Flats in Utah. I did my Level 1 certification on and a second flight on Friday. Saturday I did my Level 2 certification. All 3 flights were very stable, no damage was done (despite being dragged by the parachute due to sudden high winds for 300 yards). Ultimately the rocket was destroyed due to a deployment charge failure on an experimental engine. But thems the chances on experimental motors.....

1st launch Aug. 2, 2018: A succesful level 3 cert launch on an M1419 @ 10500'. Located Bonneville Salt flats at Hellfire 23.
2nd launch Aug. 4, 2018: A succesful launch on an M1937 @ 15000'.
The bright pigmented body makes it a wonderfull rocket for those who dont like painting. Easy to see.
