The jackets were awesome the guys loved them. They were really warm and windproof, and our guys were confident about wearing them in place of the extreme weather clothing jacket they were issued. We were generally working in temperatures between -8C and -15C, often with a windchill that added another -15C to -25C on top of that. (so the wind proofness of the jackets was really important.) We were working for the United States Antarctic program (USAP) down there crushing rocks at McMurdo Station - as opposed to the NZ program at Scott Base.
