Warm gloves for cooler weather paddling. I am sure they would be good all year round though. The grip is very good. I did have trouble with the sizing of the gloves These are perhaps a little big and drip/ hold a moderate amount of water when wet. Perhaps wouldn't be an issue if a little smaller on me. I do recommend these gloves.
