I'm glad I bought the XL - after checking in with Desolve I found out that the XL was the 'right' size for my head (!!!). So - ordered the hat, wore the hat, loved the hat, washed the hat ('cause it needed it) and it shrunk....but it's still wearable. Good product even if it's (now) a tight'ish fit.
