If you dont catch snapper on the bottom, you will catch Kahawai on the surface casting it out and reeling it in eratically. Caught 4 species so far and only used it twice. Snapper, gurnard, jack macrel and kahawai.

This rod is so much fun when catching Kahawai, everyone on the boat gasps and wait for the snap but it just wont happen. Ask for a demo in the shop, they sell this rod to people who keep braking their soft bait rods and they bend it from tip to butt.
