Mustad Swivel Bearing with Fastach Clip - Size 1.2 50lb 8pcs
I just love these tiny swivels. They are so strong for their size and being able to attach lures directly has revolutionized my fishing methods. Pre-made traces with a ring attached can also be clipped on so tying knots is no longer necessary while at sea.
Since these swivels are so small and light, they do not interfere with the action of light lures. They are worth raving about!

Lowrance HOOK2-5 CHIRP GPS/Fishfinder Package
As a first time user I found this unit difficult to navigate. I had prepared by carefully reading the instructions several times but on my first launch day the screen was too dark to see and I could not find the brightness adjuster in the menu. The instructions are far too basic. Simplistic diagrams are not sufficient and you can't resort to internet searches while sitting at sea in a kayak. It took me 30 minutes in a darkened garage to find the brightness adjustment. You access it by pressing the off button briefly! duuuh! This was not mentioned in the instructions!
I also only give Marine deals 3 stars as they did not state the warranty period and when I messaged requiring that info I never got it. Lowrance also don't state the warranty period on the box or in the paper work that I got.
Marine Deals also did not make it clear whether this unit would fit on a kayak. Overall my experience has not been helpful.

Ocean Kayak Comfort Plus Seat
This Kayak was poorly advertised on the Marine Deals website. There were no photos showing the rear of the seat or a note in the description to say whether there was a storage compartment on the rear of the seat back. All my past Kayak seats have come with a handy storage bag where lunch and a hat can be stowed. The base of this seat is not very thick and there are no channels for water to flow between legs and into the scuppers. Overall I am not expecting a comfortable experience hence my mediocre rating.

Shimano Curado 150DC Anti-Tangle #KAOS Orange Slow Jig Combo 7ft 7-28g 2pc
I LOVE THIS SETUP
I needed this to out perform my sons Xitus 7ft rod and 3000 shimano reel. Oh boy with the same softbait and 1/2once jighead this will out cast the fixed spool ( Coffee grinder) any day now. Do not use 15lbs main line the energy is too much when you cast and you will snap your main line every time. Shop spoolled 15lbs and I lost 12 jig heads with softbaits. I use 20lbs J-braid and 30lbs mono/fluro coated leader. I will achieve 50m min 65m max with softbaits and 60m plus with 28 Zest Gan micro jig (not that you need to cast them that far. Tip: keep your finger off the spool untill just before the lure hits the water on 3,2and 1 settings and you will not over spool. Start at 4 and build your confidence. Practice on a field first If you never used a baitcaster or getting back in to it
