I bought this when I lived in Wanaka and found it quite adaptable to the often on-and-off rain and mild cold there, handled the water very well except for in big downpours. Now I live in Colorado, USA in the mountains and its my go-to piece in the spring and fall for time in the woods with the family or time looking for turkeys in the hills. I am pretty tall and Ive really come to like the long cuts of NZ hunting garments as they provide much better protection of my upper leg areas and less draft. The only reason I take a star away is due to a certain lack of breath ability - but I know thats not what its made for and you cant have everything. I just need to look for some other more breathable options for high -exertion alpine hunts. Overall, great piece.
