really good rod, you don't need to be a grate caster to get a good distance, nice and light to carry, would be good if it came with a carry case though, hint hint. love the wooden handle. Good rod for price, would recommend getting one if you like to fish from the beach wharf or rocks, but you will need a tall rod holder.
