Lowrance Yamaha Engine Interface Cable
Used to plug into a 2021 Yamaha 250.
When the NMEA200 connection is plugged into the backbone network, which also has its own power, this cable powers on the Yamaha gauge, which makes the motor 'think' the key is on and runs the fuel pump. So even if the motor isolating switch is off, the motor is still getting some power from the NMEA connection.
So it drains the house battery and has your fuel pump running for longer than it should.
Yamaha do their own specific cable, which does not allow back feed, and this to happen.

Very pleased with this rod. Performs excellently. Also thanks to Marine Deals for their help - the first rod arrived with crushed guides. I sent in a replacement request and they sent out a replacement the next day. Awesome service.
