Abu Garcia Veritas 3 Spinning Freshwater Rod 8ft 6in 3-6kg 2pc
I bought this rod for my partner, but have managed to sneak a quick go with it.
A 1/16 oz jig head was probably a little too light to be able to get a good cast with, (under the stated casting weight) but once I changed to a 1/8 oz head, it cast like a dream. Change that to a 15gm spinner and I could easily get a 20-25m+ cast.
No fish have been caught with it yet, but I don't doubt it will handle the job perfectly.
Great rod for the money.
