PENN Jigmaster 500L-CP Star Drag Boat Reel
A very reliable and robust basic reel with no level wind. I use this reel when taking students kayak fishing through surf where there is a relatively high risk of salt water immersion. The reel is easy to strip down and clean.

Shimano Backpack with Tacklebox Black/Green XL
Well made but I do not like the boxes. They have weird dividers that are ok for sinkers, but you need to take hooks and swivels out of their packets, which I don't want to as they rust faster. Marine Deals do sell a better alternative, however the depth was not on the website, so I placed the order and hoped.

Keeping Ted toasty warm in the harsh Christchurch winter. He finds it very comfortable to sleep in too. Would definitely recommend and will shop here again.

I can’t get over the two very awkward pockets. Nowhere to put you hands, you feel lost as to what to do with them.
