The knots came out pretty good but it took a few goes as the rubber band weren’t very sufficient at keeping tensions on the braid making the knot swirls loose. Otherwise it did what I wanted..

Donaghys Super Swift12 Dinghy Rope Red Mottle 8mm x 1m
We found this rope very stiff and hard to splice, but in use it has been very good to use. We like the low stretch of the rope. We really need to wear gloves with this, but we are pleased that it is working well as a spin brace (guy) on a 30ft keel boat.

Too thin and wrong shape for me. Super flexible so I gave up trying to use it straight away.
