I never realized how much I missed hot water in the field. This thing is awesome. I even use it at work because it heats soup faster than a microwave

My trail name is Jetboil. Can you blame me? It sounds like a jet engine when starting, no need of a lighter, just push a button, and it has a thermo flame on the side that lights up orange when it has boiling water which makes it idiot proof, it boils in half the time as a "regular" stove, and I can even hold it in my hand after it is still boiling hot because of the insulation padding that comes with it. All the parts I need all fits within itself, so no looking for the fuel can, pot, oven mit, and it is steady, so no tipping or spilling the water. Yeah, I'm a bit obsessed with my jetboil. And my hiking leader laughs at me because of the way I talk about my jetboil, and how I go on and on about it, he says I sound like a sponsor of Jetboil, which I am not... But it's an awesome stove. It is my 1 luxury NON ultra light item as there are lighter stoves out there, but for me, Jetboil is easy, convenient, and simple! Joke is, if I am ever lost in the woods, if you want to find me, just look for my jetboil. Nothing comes between me and my jetboil. LoL. Not even my husband! whom I love almost as much as my jetboil. Keeps you warm in half the time! See? Jetboil.

Bought the FCS as a gift for my father. Could not be happier with its performance. Would buy from Jetboil again.

Very compact and a pleasure to use. Whether it is backpacking or car camping this is the stove for you.

My husband loves this item. Thank you! Seriously how much do I need to write?

I would recommend this to anyone who embraces the outdoor lifestyle.

When we go to fight wildland fires we use this to cook our food

Fast light even good looking, a must have for backpacking

Worked great, compact and gets the job done in no time!

I bought one of these about a year back. Several friends of mine use this system and I have seen it work flawlessly. However, my stove refuses to "feed" gas from the can to the stove. After trying the stove with several different gas canisters (all of which worked properly with my other stoves), I sent it back to Jetboil to be fixed. Jetboil shipped the stove back to me, however, I am not sure they did anything to it because the problem persists. I would love to recommend this system, but have been turned off by this experience.

As a full time hunting guide and outdoorsman, I needed something light, durable and fast when it came to cooking in the backcountry. I've used other brands in the past, and smaller stove type products, and the Flash has completely blown them out of the water.
It's light enough I can carry it in my pack and not feel the weight which is a huge plus for me. I've had water boiling within 45 seconds which is pretty impressive considering I hunt and guide between 8500-12000 feet in elevation. It's super compact meaning I can keep my fuel, fuel canister support and all the other components inside the flash until needed.
The New flash has the heat sensor on the side letting me know when the water is hot enough and boiling which is really nice when glassing the mountains and I can just look over and view when it's ready, which is nice not having to babysit the flash. I can boil enough water for up to 4 people at a time which also is a convenience!!
Some may say the price point is a little out of budget, but spend the money and you won't regret it! It will be the last backcountry cooking system you will ever need!!
The only thing I'd like to change is the noise it makes while boiling. For archery hunting, it is slightly a little loud, especially if you are deep in the Pines and close to animals. But, the noise is not a deterring factor in purchasing the flash as all the pros outweigh the one con I have found!
It's simple to use, easy to clean, and is easily used on the mountain or back at camp. The flash is also a necessity for a bug out bag or survival kit. Some of the other nice things about it is the neoprene sleeve protecting your hand from the heat, the self ignitor, the measuring cup that comes with it and all the other accessories you can purchase for it. One of the favorite accessories has been the coffee press which is also lightweight, and compact.
All in all, it's the best bang for your back country buck! Convenience and ease make the Flash well worth the money!! Highly recommend to all outdoorsman, both women and men!

I received the flash system as a gift for the holidays. Ive taken this system with me everywhere I go for hiking. Its actually part of my hiking gear! Its so useful to have meals that can be cooked if Im 15 miles out in the woods, or mountains and be able to have a solid meal. I also prepare my coffee with this. Its rugged, durable, and certainly keeps my food and drinks warm. I only wish I could purchase the wildlife cozy for mine!

Boils water well. The neoprene sleeve melted immediately, including the portion that changes color to indicate temperature, that was disappointing. Also, it is very difficult to separate the boiling water vessel from the stove. The sheetmetal lugs that twist into place with the burner dont release easily, this makes it a struggle to separate the two components. Compounding this is the hot burner surfaces & boiling water.

I saw this at a neighboring campsite and loved the idea. So I searched and found it on line. It does a great job at boiling two cups of water very quickly with IsoPro fuel canisters. I love it for making coffee at the picnic table without having to wake my wife up using our regular camp stove. Unfortunately the click lighter stopped working (others had mentioned this) but it is easy enough to use a lighter.

Used it car camping instead of getting out the big stove to heat water in the morning. Works great. Only issue is the automatic lighter...takes many tries to get it to light. Keep your face away from that area. Can always use a lighter. I have one of the first Jetboils and after many years it still works great.

I finally gave in and bought myself a Jetboil stove and retired my backpacking stove I had used for the last decade. I couldn't be happier. This Jetboil stove boils water faster than imaginable, is just as lightweight, and uses a fraction of the fuel. Now I'm asking myself why I didn't buy one years ago.

I bought my first Jet Boil in the spring of 2007 and it is still my favorite tool! My Jet Boil goes where I go and has never let me down! I now have three of them...one for work, one for hunting , and one for my truck just in case. Awesome product!

We love our Jetboil. On long drives we make coffee and tea on the tailgate or our truck. We stop at pleasant rest stops and quickly boil water. On warm days it takes less than 2 mins. On the coldest 8-10. Many years of great service.

I bought the Jetboil flash just before a 10 trip in the California desert and I was extremely impressed. The flash heated water for my coffee faster than I expected and the small can of Jetboil fuel I bought lasted the whole trip.

This is my second Jetboil and I LOVE these things, the quantity of memories that I have with these campstoves is unreal. Worth penny for sure. By far the best stoves I've ever used, I recommend them to everyone.
