Berkley Gulp 4'' Jigging Grub Soft Bait BBQ Chicken
Snapper and kahawai go nuts over these grubs... virtually never have to worry about bait fishing as snapper seem to go out of their way to attack these things, even with hardly any action on the retreive..

Shimano Eclipse GP Spinning Telescopic Rod 8ft 5-8kg 1pc
Im more than happy with the rod, I actually bought it for my wife for Xmas, so she hasnt seen it yet, but its perfect for me to stash in the work ute and pull out when one of those "If I only I had a rod...." moments come by!

Great but would have preferred single hooks for use on Taupo.

Shimano Baitrunner 12000 OC and Vortex Straylining Combo 6ft 10in 10-15kg
Best value for money rock fishing combo. Spool it with Suffix Super 21 0.40mm line for stray lining off the rocks. Keep the reel clear of any water and make sure you give it a good clean before packing it away.
