Jetboil Flash Camping Cooker System 9000 BTU/h Wild
After having to retire my old Jetboil stove after a dozen years of use, I am very pleased with my new Flash stove. While very similar to the last stove, the design and time to boil improvements are welcome. While my stove doesn't go camping as often as it should, it is in my car and does a great job when I am on the road.

Works great, easy to use, but I keep having a problem with the small pin on the valve. it keeps pushing through, which pushes the other side out. When you need to make that cup of coffee quick it sucks to have to push the pin back through the tiny offset hole. And Im afraid its gonna come out while I have it on blast.

Working as a professional climber, time on and off the wall is precious. Seconds can mean the difference between clipping the chains of a route or tagging a summit before the sun goes down.
Being given the opportunity to test and use the new Flash system has been fun. The new system is fast, compact, and efficient. The stats boast a 100 second boil time and delivers. Im a coffee lover being able to wake at 4:30 in the morning and easily boil water and get my injection of caffeine makes projecting simple and focused.
It fits comfortably into my gear bag from backpacking to big-walling and can ignite stoke on those below zero days. Nothing beats warmth on those frozen desert days.
The only critique that I have regards the neoprene sleeve. When I have the burner on as high as possible, I was able to melt the neoprene. It didnt happen otherwise at an other adjusted level and I wouldnt let it deter me from using the unit. Just something to be aware of.

Purchased for a Boy Scout backpacking trip so Ive only used it one time. Worked great, quicker than advertised boiling time. All the other scouts were waiting in line for it rather than waiting for their water to boil over a fire. Color changing boil indicator is an awesome feature.

While I bought this as a gift I cannot comment on the product itself, but the website was great! Very easy to use and the product arrived in two days. I would use it again. When the person opened their gift they were VERY PLEASED with their gift.

I am very happy with this small, lightweight, portable set! Ive been in the Marine Corps for several years and honestly dont want another MRE. This is a great sub for our shorter stents where I can cook some ramen noodles and enjoy.

I was fortunate enough to receive a flash from JetBoil a few weeks ago and can't speak more highly of it! Definitely the fastest stove I've ever used! Pretty amazing you can measure boils in seconds!

Ive used this only about 6 times and works awesome except the igniter has already stopped working. A small inconvenience but somewhat discouraging that it quit on me so quickly.

Bought this to boil tea water on camping/fishing trips. Worked awesome even in freezing, windy conditions.

I love this stove. I've used a friends for ages, and finally got my own and I absolutely love it. I hardly get out the camp stove anymore. I get out of my sleeping bag, my jetboil is already full of water and all I do is hit the button, and I have boiling water in minutes. It's even eliminated my need to hunt around the camp table for the lighter in the morning, which I invariably use to lose the night before. I actually don't even use a camp stove anymore when I car camp. I use a dutch oven and the Jetboil. I also bring it on day trips out to the river so I can boil up water for instant soup and stuff when I'm fishing. Anyway, you get the point. I freaking love this thing.

I received my Flash Cooking System yesterday in the mail and couldn't wait to get out of work to simply boil water! As soon as I could I boiled 2 cups of water at 42F in 1 minute & 42 seconds! That means that I can have fresh, hot coffee in the woods and on the water via the coffee press kit in under 5 minutes!? And Hot Cocoa in the hands of the kids I work with in just 2 minutes! Super cool! Thank you!
Best,
Kasey

This Company is by far one of the best that I have purchased from. Buying a product is one thing. You can purchase from anyone, however customer service is where it matters most and Jetboil customer service is on top! They also take care of their veterans, remembering their service and giving back. Thank you Jetboil for your great service, all you do in the community, and lastly for a great product.

I wasnt sure it was possible to love a stove, but this thing proved me wrong. Jetboil provided me with a Flash to try out and I absolutely love it. I have no idea how they get it to boil water so quickly My kitchen stove is jealous. If youre into backpacking and you usually just rock freeze-dried meals, the Flash is absolutely the way to go. You just cant beat it for heating water quickly.

I've been a Jetboil user for years and I couldn't be happier with the updates to the Flash including the faster boil time and new lid. I often do my coffee in a pour over and the old lid would often make a mess of things. I can also tell the different in weight and the new design makes it easier to assemble. Happy that cooking is less of a chore now thanks to Jetboil.
