I've own many spinning reel before some very light, some heavy but in the end i still take Penn Slammer to go fishing, i totally know Penn Spinning reel will not be as Glass Smooth as some "Other" spinning reel but i actually like that feel of turning a machine not like some "Other" spinnig reel being so glass smooth it feel like a toy.
