gonna start with some things i consider negatives.it comes with pre-applied stropping compound. I would of liked to see the paste on the side and let me put it on myself. This would of allowed me to put the paste I normally use on right away instead of removing what came on it. The magnets! As you pull the knife threw the diamond grit you can feel the magnetic field as you draw the blade. This feels odd and takes away from a smooth motion of drawing the knife. The coarse ceramic honing. Ceramic is a difficult material to work with and I may of gotten a faulty grind but I have found absolutely no use for this portion of the ceramic. I have found that my edges have been tainted by this portion of the ceramic and i would not recommend using it . Ok moving onto the good stuff. This is in my pocket when I see my mother, she throws her knifes in the sink and they are always in bad shape when i see her. The coarse grit makes short work of most edge defects and provides a relatively clean edge to start from. I keep this in my kitchen to touch up my knifes after use, only needing the ceramic and the strop to maintain the edge. This is in my back pack in the bush, its nice to pull the metal diamond portions off and touch up an hatchet. I have fancy belt sharpeners and I reach for this most often. I would recommend removing the compound that comes on the strop and sanding it on 2,000 grit sand paper. Then i would put on 20,000grit diamond stropping paste on it. stay away from the coarse ceramic (this could be bias, im not sure if mine has a defect) . I am all around please with this sharpener, there is some skill involved in using it but the end product is all around surprising. Would recommend for anyone wanting a inexpensive tool that works.

I had this sharpener now and finally wore it out. So I bought another one, exact same model. It works great and puts a great edge on my knife collection. Easy to take with you fits right in my bag. I highly recommend it.

I pulled this out of the box, read the directions and got to work. I sharpened all of our very dull and neglected kitchen knives within 15 min and moved onto my extensive collection of mid tech folding knives. I am beyond impressed by how easy it is to use! I have tried a few other manual sharpeners with angle guides and whetstones but never mastered the technique so I gave up years ago and settled for pull thru sharpeners. Im not one to spend time to write reviews but just had to after finally being able to sharpen my knives so easily. Just amazed at the results.

After having this sharpener for the last 12 yrs my old ones motor burned out so i immediately bought a new one. I was a Chef for 45 yrs and like my knives sharp! This sharpener does the job and is reasonably priced .

I had the first edition and could not find replacement parts for it, so I had to upgrade. It's is lighter, have a smoother feel to it and really like the new sharpening cassette.

Have used this new sharpener for about 2 weeks now. Had the original model which I loved, but this is a real upgrade. No changing cartridges for different knife sharpening. Just push the lever up or down and the angle is changed for you. Easier than earlier model to hold the knife in just the right spot for perfect sharpening every time. Very well engineered. The first time I used it, my belt was shifting a little bit to one side. No problem though. Just made slight adjustment with the adjustment screw (as per the instructions) and it moved right into place. If this is your first WORK SHARP sharpener, just follow the directions. They're well written and easy to follow. Especially the Notes that emphasize how to move the blade through the sharpener. WORKSHARP clearly wants you to be successful in sharpening all types of blades.This is the easiest way to get almost all knives, scissors & outdoor tools razor sharp. As good as what I've had done by professionals,The only thing I wish was included in the kit is a travel case since all my friends want me to come over and sharpen their knives once they see and try mine!

I for over 50 years I have tried every knife sharpening system out there you name it I have done it. So easy to use that I bought my 25 year old one for his birthday and within 20 minutes he was knocking it out of the ballpark. Hint go watch the video on Youtube with Ken Onion showing how he does it. Simple, fast and effective.

Very simple to use, no confusion in how to use. Gets my ass back into my projects quicker than the regular stones I was using and the best part I won't have to worry about reshaping this sharpener before I actually begin sharpening which would more times than not become a full day thing (I have a lot of chisals, Carving knives, pocket knives, than there's my throwing knives, can't forget the kitchen knives...come to think of it I'm sure I have over 1000 knives and should probably get one or two more sharpeners

Sharpened a whole of kitchen in knives thet were very dull to better than new in one sitting. Great control, tou can watch the resurfacing as you step thru the grit levels.

Could get what I was looking for at a reasonable price. Very quick delivery.

These are very nice hooks , I've been fishing South Island area's for over 50 years and tried a lot of hooks . None of the others will hook you up faster than these . I use 3 sizes in this range , 5/0 , 6/0 , and 7/0 . The 5/0 is the best elephant fish hook by a country mile . The 6/0 and 7/0 are the best rig and greyboy catchers .

These are great nets. Well made and at a very reasonable price.

Put it up looks good, won't be used till end of the year.
