Berkley ProSpec X8 Premium Braid Blue Camo 2000m
purchased this as it was a thin diameter and a reasonable price. I had 2 x electric reels to spool up and there was any amount of braid to spool both tanacom reels with plenty left over so it is obviously reasonably thin diameter. The praid appears to be reasonably stiff to handle compared to some of the more subtle braids I generally use but this is not going to be an issue for the electric reels and may be an advantage as a casting braid. I have no used these reels since spooling up so cannot comment on the effectiveness of the braid when fishing.

Swazi Sentinel Ultralight Jacket
Persisting down torrential rain driven by that all powerful Wellington wind and several hours of walking becomes fun in this coat. The hood is brilliant with the peaked front and the peripheral vision is a life saver in crossing busy streets. Most hoods block off your side vision when you turn your head and that makes it hard to see that car that's about to run over you but not this one the vision remains clear. The front zip comes right up under then chin and remains comfortable and the only downside is the wrist cuff stitching isn't taped so it lets the water in on the inner layer cuffs and into the inside of short cuff gloves. Not a big deal though, it handles the pouring rain out in the open in the windiest city in the world so it'll handle anything. I bought a size up to allow for extra layers
