PENN Pursuit IV 4000 703M Travel Spin Combo with Travel Case 7ft 5-10kg 3pc
I can see us use this rod as a spare for guests on the boat. It has a nice action and works well. Not tried to catch any fish on it yet but cannot see any reasons why it would not work well.

Milenco Universal External Thermal Blind
It does what is supposed to do while it's new, but after 3 months of usage the material starts deteriorating very quickly. Now just after one year, the whole fabric is basically rotten. Clearly cheap materials not suitable for its main purpose, which is protection against sun / cold. Interesting enough is that my motorhome has a lutton, so it rarely gets wet, would probably last 6 months if it gets wet in every rain

Great Tank

Hi-Tech Live Bait Tank 45L with Portable Aerator Kit
Love the tank but find the Pump gets blocked by scales really fast - thought my boat battery was going flat when water flow started dropping. - upgraded to external pump and its a beast now

Big money for poor abrasion resistance

Daiwa Tanacom Multi-Colour Braid 1000m PE8 80lb
I found that the Daiwa Tanacomb braid is not abrasion resistant ,it cuts through and then snaps easily. For its price I was expecting a better product.Iam rather dissapointed.

Swazi Sentinel Ultralight Jacket
Wets out fast which brings it down a star. Comfy to wear, very breathable. Wore for 9 days in Fiordland and kept me dry in a blizzard up the Nevis. Will be a staple bit of kit for me from now.

Swazi Polar Fleece Bush Pants
Better than sweatpants and warmer than jeans. My partner loved these (and they looked pretty good to me too) so he got another pair.

Toadfish Stowaway Stainless Adjustable Beach Spike Rod Holder 132cm
The only issue I have is that the thumb screws jar loose easily if you have to use a rubber hammer to drive them into the sometimes hard beach sands. I guess I could purchase split washers to avoid this
