Nice reel.

Shimano Genpu XT 200PG Baitcaster Reel
Small, light reel. Smooth action. No issues with the reel itself.
Drops a * because the power knod is poor. Too big, 40mm and too smooth and with wet hands hard to grip.
Am replacing the knob with another one and it will then be fine.

Very disappointed, the first day l used it, it snapped pulling up a good fish. I had caught several good fish before hand, then pulling up this fish from a depth of 50mtrs and the fish pulling line l got it up to where l saw colour and the line snapped. Not happy and now worried that is going to snap again

Cork handle is nice but the butt end chip connection is on a really weak chord. Better if it was hard fixed.

Daiwa Saltiga EX 12 Braid 400m PE8 118lb
Since changing to Saltiga EX 12 a few years ago I noticed less fraying, better line life and little to no line breaks even when fighting large game fish off the rocks. If you want the best you know what to go with.

Rain-X Spot Free Car Wash 1.42L
Seems to work reasonably well.
My car is black AND my water has a lot of calcium in it so the product has to work extremely well for there to be no visible water spots if the car is just left to dry without towelling it down to break them up.
I have only used the product once and it did OK - some spots were visible (hence why I haven’t given it full marks) but my test is a tough test for the above reasons. TBH I struggle to get rid of water spots completely even if I dry the car by hand so I am happy enough with my purchase and will buy again because it does make the job easier and it does shine the car up nicely.

Tatonka Dodger Waterproof Travel Pouch L
I had left my Spot X book on the boat so they got wet I washed the boat down, so I was looking for a waterproof satchel for them. This travel pouch is perfect for this, it can hold two of my Spot X books and keep them nice an dry. Won't help me catch more fish though :-(
