This vest keeps me warm in the icy wind but doesn't slowly boil me as I get paddling. The zip is very handy for adjusting the temp as well as getting it on and off. It doesn't restrict my arm movement at all (kayak and sup).

Exactly as advertised - unfortunately due to my (non-athletic shape), it is not an ideal fit around neck and shoulders. Purchased for swimming to assist recovery of shoulder. I am sure it will give me comfort during colder months though.
