All I can say is that the standard has slipped considerably. It used to be that the salespeople knew what they were talking about, were attentive, and wanted to serve you.
My last two visits nobody could care less whether I was there or not and, no, it wasn't' because they were busy because they had plenty of time to talk amongst themselves and ignore customers.
I am less than impressed with Marine Deals.
I went in to purchase a new rod and reel but left and purchased it elsewhere. I was sad to do this because I had always dealt with Marine Deals but I chose to go somewhere that the salesperson actually wanted to engage with me. Sorry guys!

Excellent service from shop floor. When wrong product had arrived staff did everything possible to reorder & resolve issue at a frantic time of year(xmas). Also very apologetic for what is apparently an internal issue of email product arrival notice. Item had been there for around 10 days & only through my own chasing up noticed. Hope this helps rectify as really is fantastic store.
