I definitely would recommend Med School insiders for your residency interview prep. I researched a lot of different mock interview programs and found many to be overpriced or lacking creditability. I have used medschool insiders a few times before and I was not disappointed(even though it is a bit pricey). For my interview prep I bought the 3 mock interviews package and found that to be more that sufficient. My advisor was David Ritchie and I highly recommend him. He worked with my schedule and went above and beyond to insure that all my interview weaknesses were tackled. We covered all the red flags in my application and turned my weaknesses into strengths. The biggest obstacle I had to overcome during interviews was feeling confident. I kept doubting myself and feeling like I wasn't good enough, Ritchie helped me overcome that self doubt and realize my potential. Thanks for all your help Ritchie. =)

First off, MSI was kind enough to let me switch advisors in the beginning when I felt like I wasn't gelling as much as I wanted to with my initial advisor. After watching all of the Med School Insiders content, I still felt uncertain about how I should best improve my candidacy. Dr. Francke presented me with multiple new ways of understanding the admissions process and how my candidacy is affected by things I hadn't considered. I think Rosa herself was incredible and really helpful for me and I would give her as a mentor 5/5. I think my issue with this is more the accessibility of this type of work to the general population. Paying 350 dollars per hour is extremely difficult and unaffordable. This is especially true given that one hour of MMI practice actually only can equate to a few questions which is not representative of a true mock.

My counselor was pretty knowledgable about the whole med school application and also offered good insights into my story of becoming a doctor. At the same time, I wish he knew more about post-bacc programs and their admission process, which I understand, is only geared for a small group of non-traditional students like myself. I'd perhaps recommend Med School Insiders to hire some counselors who have undergone post-bacc programs themselves for more tailored advice.
