Memm is a lot more reliable than random Anki decks and a lot more tailored. I used it to try to cram more bio/biochem and psych sociology in at the last minute. Memm-like tools for the licensing exams would be appreciated, assuming I get that far. I wish I'd found this tool earlier, it'd've been more efficient than the Kaplan books, and done more practice questions beyond just the 7 practice exams 4 from AAMC and serious review of those. I'd expected to do a little better, but I didn't get a 98th%ile in CARS like I'd done in several practice tests from the AAMC.

I used Memm extensively through my MCAT review process and found the flashcards extremely helpful as I had not taken anatomy nor had I taken sociology or psychology. The spaced repetition method is really helpful in memorizing concepts with the minimum amount of time, which will help with problems that require both recall of many concepts and the application of these concepts. It saves so much time & definitely contributed heavily to my success.

My actual MCAT score: 522. Memm was great. Professionally designed flashcards with spaced repetition and associated sheets with additional info really helped focus my studying and memorization. Cons would be the price, and I was somewhat worried about Memm âoverfittingâ for the practice exams â some flashcards seemed explicitly created with AAMC practice questions in mind. Not sure if this is true though, but maybe something to think about.
