My transmission arrived on a broken pallet with additional boxes containing the torque converter, trans fluid, and remote tranny cooler. I paid the extra $75 for the HD 4wd case because this trans is for a K5 6.2 Blazer. I was surprised the trans did not have the large "K" that is supposed to be cast into the side of the trans bell housing. I have yet to address that with Monster. As far as the trans itself goes it looks brand new and came with the deep chrome pan I ordered with it. It went in easily and once all was done, the cooler installed and the TV cable adjusted, the trans was filled per instructions. All I can say is this trans is perfect. It shifts perfectly with no hunting of 3rd to 4th. I now realize that the original trans I had was not only slipping but was not delivering the engine output to the wheel. The truck really moves out nicely now with very little engine effort. The installed shift kit provides nice firm shifts when it should. I am very happy with this trans and would recommend it to anyone.

I installed the 700R4 unit in my 1991 K5 Blazer and absolutely love it. The performance and shifting are so much better than what we were running before and I cant say enough good things about this transmission. Customer service and warranty service was excellent and they helped resolve an issue that arose on installation free of charge and without any finger pointing.
