This is my second trans form monster and I have been very happy with service and there products I plan to buy again from them as I have a few projects that require a transmission thats better than the rest

this thing took over a second off my 1/4 mile time, great drivability

Received the transmission in very sturdy packaging. Tranny looked nice, cooler included as well. Installed unit and tested. No delay for reverse anymore. Shifts solidly no more confusion between gears. Very satisfied with Monster and their products. Was leery about ordering a trans online, from across the country. Very glad I did. Have had nothing but success with Monster. Also liked the progress report emails I received during my trannys rebuild. Start to finish everything-service & product-was exactly as it should be. Will definitely come back if need in the future.

Installation went well.Needed new flywheel since it only had one set of mounting holes.Also, slip yoke was approx 1" longer than original. Had to cut 1/2" off yoke shaft. Trans shifts well and its now a cruiser!! Trans appears to be of very high quality and i always look forward to driving the GTO. Finally, its been a pleasure to deal with my rep who is without a doubt a huge asset to your Company.

Very happy with my new torque converter. Definitely lower stall than the factory. My mileage has gone up between 1.5 and 2 miles a gallon.

This thing is the most nicely-packed thing I ever received via palletized freight. That upper deck for the extras is a stroke of genius. Now all I have to do is get up the energy to install it! :O Because its a 4WD it will be a bit of extra hassle, but nothing I cant accomplish in one day once I get feeling a little better. I will be documenting everything exhaustively and you will get a testimonial video par excellence once I get this thing motating! It will be nice to have 3rd and 4th gear back, and with all the extra cooling and goodies I should get another 200k miles, right? ;D Seriously, I appreciate that you got this thing right out, and Im dying to drive it. EDIT 9/4/15: WOW. That is the only description of this transmission. I have never driven a transmission that behaved ANYTHING like this one does. (If it wasnt clear, the transmission is now in the vehicle and I have driven it.) This thing is amazing. It doesnt shift gears---that would mean it has to move between gears. It is.....magic! It just "appears" in the correct gear, with no transition AND NO LURCH! It is just magically in the correct gear all the time, and when it needs to be in a different one, POOF! It just suddenly IS! The engine revs change instantaneously, and honestly I dont know how it is physically POSSIBLE to change gears so instantaneously without generating a lurch, but it does! I assume you know all about this already. You send lots of these out the door, and hear these stories all the time, but I am absolutely THRILLED by this transmission. I included your warranty card survey thingy, (attached) and yes I did it myself, but I know what Im doing. This aint my first rodeo....but man is this the best horse I ever rode to it! I will be making a testimonial video as soon as I get the truck back from my friend. (His broke down and mine was available. I hated to part with the awesome!)

The AOD that I received from you all works flawlessly. Whether I am at in a Car Show or at Cruise In. I will recommend you every chance I get.

This is my 1966 Ford Mustang, 5 Liter V8, a little over 300 horsepower. Just installed a Monster automatic overdrive Transmission in place of the standard C4. My idea of a trial of a transmission, is to take it out on the road. We took this car 2,000 miles from Covington Indiana to Nigam Nevada over high heating and brought it back over the same 2,000 miles. Average gas mileage with the air conditioning running the whole time was around 19.5 miles a gallon. Able to keep up with the big boys that certainly run the speed limits that range anywhere from 70 to 75-80 going up over the mountains. And also cruised the hot August nights as a registered participant of Hot August Nights. The car is extremely versatile in climbing mountains and running very well. Never had a problem climbing the mountains, when it needed to downshift it did. When it needed to get in overdrive and stay there and get the benefits of the gas mileage it did that. So, certainly a good investment from my perspective. Certainly enjoyed the drive and was much more pleasurable than with the c4 last year getting between 123 and 14 miles per gallon. Thank You.

The experience was better than expected. Shipping was fast and service was great. After installation I am well pleased with the performance of the transmission. The kit was exactly as advertised with quality parts and installed easily into the old transmission case. The kit was purchased for a 78 K5

I had a problem with the governor. I called Monster up and they fixed it, no questions asked. Now my trans is working like brand new and I can say EAT MY SHIFT! Thanks Monster!

This is the first time I have bought a transmission. I didn''t know exactly what I needed or what all was involved in it. My client care rep was tremendous help. He got my spec sheet and helped me go through it. He went through the spec sheet on my motor and let me know exactly what I needed. I was upgrading my 1969 Mustang and he helped me with an AOD transmission. He was just fantastic. He went above and beyond too to help me find some other parts that he also knew I would need. He was just great. When I was putting the transmission on the motor, I was having some challenges. I called into tech support 3 days in a row and they were so kind and and just helped me with everything I needed. They found out the information and got back with me right away. They didn''t have it right on hand but they called me back just as fast as they could and had it al set up for me. Monster Transmission has been great. I doubt I''ll ever need another one because with this kind of service, I imagine their quality is going to be excellent. I probably won''t ever need another transmission for this car but I''ll tell all my friends about it. Thanks for all of your help. You guys are wonderful.

You guys were great in responding to me quickly. My rep handled everything and was fantastic! I had a problem with the shipping company and My rep was on top of it! Every time i contacted you i got a response quickly except when i asked a question regarding the torque converter installation which i never heard back from you guys and had to figure out myself. Also i talked to someone today about scheduling pickup for the core and I made it clear that i needed it picked up friday, but whomever i talked to sent them out the same day. I work night shift at a hispital and was woken up by the shipping company at my door. The core wasnt ready to be picked up yet, so i was forced to get out of bed and get everything together and secured to ship. Im a little disappointsd that the trans pan doesnt have a drain valve. I put in a little too much fluid and had to drop the pan and refill the trans. Except for a few technical hiccups I gotta say I cant be more happier with the product!

The case showed up and was just as the description said it would be. I installed it the night it came in and have been using it ever since. It is very smooth and has performed perfectly at high speeds and under heavy loads behind my 500 horse twelve valve Cummins. The only thing that was disappointing was there was no identification tag like on the original case.

Kit was used to repair a Firebird with a broken sun shell and some function issues prior to breaking the sun shell. In addition to the broken sun shell (included in kit)tear down also revealed some burnt frictions and band. Everything in the kit was good quality and corrected all function issues. Transmission is working flawlessly and shifts are very stong. Would buy again.
