I have a 49 Ford 8N and the LogHog made it a heck of a lot easier getting those logs out to work them. 20” diameter 9ft long 7 times. I simply love this new implement and I’m only half way done with total cleanup!

Just put my shiny new cover on my Lm 29. It fits great, seems like very durable material. Has zippers on both sides for easy covering. Only reason I didnt rate 5 stars is because I haven't had it outside for some time to see the durability. So far I do recommend this product.

Track System Extension (5ft/152cm) (for PortaMill)
Bought the track extension to be able to mill 10 foot logs. With the track system and extension, you'll have 15 feet of track, but around 13 feet milling capacity. You'll need 1 1/2 foot of track on each end for the milling cart and chainsaw.

Track System (10ft/305cm) (for PortaMill)
I bought the track system as an upgrade from an aluminum ladder. I have a 70cc chainsaw with a 28 inch bar and noticed that the aluminum ladder would twist from the torque of the saw when cutting into large walnut logs, making an uneven cut. The side rails are rock solid on the track system and haven't noticed any twist. I like that the track comes apart for easy hauling into the woods. The only down side is the total length of 10 foot. If you want to mill a 10 foot log you will need the 5 foot extension kit. You need about 1 1/2 foot of track on each end of the log for the milling cart that holds the chainsaw.

This is a great tool that actually works exactly as promised! Assembly is not quick but as long as you methodically follow the directions, it is a fairly straight forward process. I’ve already milled a half-dozen eight foot logs and am thrilled with how easy it is to operate. If you are thinking about getting an Alaskan mill, don’t!!! The PortaMill is far safer and easier to operate!

I find these blades to be very good at standing up to nails. You have take it easy going through hardwoods but that's to be expected. Overall a very nice product.
