My son and daughter absolutely love Notgrass curriculum. They prefer it over every social studies/history curriculum we’ve tried in our five years of homeschooling. Lessons are interesting and easy to read and absorb. I feel it gives them a sense of confidence in relating to our world. We just switched from our current History curriculum (for the past 6 years) to Notgrass for this coming year. Our son was so excited about the beautiful textbooks that he wanted to start right away! This was my first time using Notgrass History and I was blown away by the quality of the research and first person accounts included. I’ve learned so much right alongside my four children. Saw the Notgrass History products at the Ohio Homeschool Convention. They are.....SPECTACULAR! I am a veteran homeschooler - having homeschooled all my 4 children from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I was an 'old-time' homeschooler - which meant I planned/bought the curriculum for my children each year - no computer schooling for our family! I am now encouraging my nieces to homeschool their children. I took them to the homeschool convention to show them the ropes and when I saw the Notgrass History curriculum, I was very excited! So excited, I bought the curriculum for them to use. IF I was still homeschooling, I would use the Notgrass studies for my base and then just fill in with math and some handwriting and science here or there until high school. I am encouraging my nieces NOT to get bogged down with books or workbooks for every single subject. They will get burnt out and so will their children before they even make high school age. I know from experience this can happen. So thank you, for a great curriculum and I am excited to watch how they use this for their children's studies.
