Notgrass is the best! This is our first year with high school curriculum but we’ve been with them for awhile. My children are registered members of an indigenous tribe and my husband always appreciates the sensitivity and reality when dealing with topics such as colonialism but it’s done in a way that is not preachy nor making the concept of America seem “evil” in any way. It’s a very fine line and they do it so well.

I feel like I finally found the holy grail of history for all my children (ages 8, 11, 16). We love reading and esp reading aloud at night time so these books don’t feel like more work to slog through. They feel like what we’ve already been doing.
