I am using this with my 5th grader. We really like the layout and beautiful pictures. The text is engaging and holds his attention better than other history curriculums we've used. I really like using notgrass and will move on to Adam from us next.

I found Notgrass before they had an elementary curriculum. The high school curriculum was too much for my kids, but I was able to pre-order "Our Star-Spangled Story." We have not turned back since. We are now going through the high school curriculum. I am thankful for all the choices we have using this curriculum. And I LOVE the literature suggestions. So blessed!!!

I love the history lessons and how there are activities for my son to do after reading his lesson for the day. I appreciate all the extra booklets and literature that came with the curriculum. The beautiful images in the book make the text come to life and I appreciate it.

I was so impressed with the Notgrass history books when we received them. They are beautiful - full of intriguing pictures. I am even happier with my purchase now that we are 18 lessons in. The content is easy to understand but full of details and the important concepts.

I was looking for a curriculum for civics that was matter of fact and something that speaks truth. This is it. All in one and ready for use. Lessons are engaging and easy to teach. It comes with a workbook that’s perfect for younger learners and a lesson review workbook for older ones. It’s a perfect match for someone teaching multiple ages at the same time too. I would definitely recommend this curriculum!

Purchase itself was easy and to the point. Shipping much faster than I expected. As for the curriculum itself, we LOVE IT! It is very refreshing to hear my kids beg me to do school with them. We are absolutely loving it!

We are on the second unit and we are liking it so far. For parents please read the author suggestions on how to use it. How much time and what materials you use will depend on your child’s attention and your skills teaching it, so select accordingly. For more than one student I recommend to buy extra student worksheet books, student map book & student lesson review (if you are using it). Having a world map on a wall to point as you read and reading the suggested literature pages while they work on their map book has helped us so far.
I emailed them for questions and they responded pretty fast.
