Potent Potpourri Donut
This enjoyable lamp work technique has been previously used for the Confetti Upchuck & Birthday cake designs as well. While the glass is wrapped around the rod and still hot & soft, it is then rolled across small broken pieces of colored glass, referred to as frit. It's returned to the flame once again to incorporate the small pieces into the base & smooth it out. The frit can vary in size and color obviously, and this bead has a beautiful rainbow of colors dancing all the way around in slightly larger sizes compared to the previous mentioned beads that has used the same technique.

It has movement like dangling grapes; tiers or layers of flowers. The bale is delicate yet sturdy. I don't prefer dangles on my wrist due to flinging, bouncing and possibly damage when I'm at work. So when I happen to enjoy a dangle design enough to purchase, I end up wearing it as a pendant, and this bead is perfect for that.
