This is a nice size bead. It’s not tiny or oversized, and it is as detailed in the picture. I think the birds are flamingos. Some people say swans, but I’ve only ever seen flamingos pose like that. It makes it truly unique seeing how flamingos are only ever shown as a summer thing.

The Red Lanterns
The Red Lanterns was my first purchase from the Chinese New Year collection. I couldn't resist the gorgeous design and the unique way the glass orb is encased in the silver cage. There are flecks of gold on the red, which are stunning. The bale is delicate and intricate, a fantastic extra detail. The fine chains on the bottom of the lantern feel so soft against the skin and add movement to the dangle. The meaning behind The Red Lanterns is so special too. A delightful bead all round!
