Quality, solid bead. I appreciate & prefer the realistic, detailed design of this bead more the cartoon caricature version. I like how the head pops up however gravity causes the head to shift downward while it's on the bracelet. I am constantly adjusting it so I can see it's cute lil bug face looking up at me. My 2 little daughters are obsessed with caterpillars and collect them as well. I wear mine on an Alice themed bangle.

This is an amazing Bead!! The "depth & texture" of the "rocky & sandy" base is stunning illusion and the adorable salamanders are the brilliant finishing touch and what a unique idea.
