What more do you need to know? I have such confidence and like Oakridge rubs so much, I bought the sampler packs to give out as Christmas gifts to my BBQ friends. I can't wait to hear the feedback. One suggestion, raise the price and include the Black Ops brisket rub.

I read the recipe on the site for competition chicken thighs with the bone in. I bought the brine and the Secret Weapon rub and followed the recipe. I added a couple of boneless breasts and they all turned out awesome. The flavor was unbelievable and the breasts and thighs were so juicy. Everyone loved them.

I haven't been able to use everything yet, but everything I have tried has been great. I bbq at home a lot and i find that a lot of the "popular" or "best selling" competition rubs are overkill for eating bbq at home.I tried the santa maria rub on ribeye steaks and they were great. With the santa maria rub you could probably add a little salt to your steaks and still be ok. The competition beef & pork rub gave me an amazing color and bark to my spareribs and the flavor profile was just right without being overly powerful or salty. Compared to most competition rubs, I don't think you can really "overdo" it when applying these rubs. Like I said, I haven't been able to use everything yet but I look forward to it and Im already a big fan of what I have used.

Game Changer Brine & Injection
After using Oakridge's Game Changer All Purpose Brine, I will ...NEVER... make my own brine again. This so much more than sugar, salt and water. The selection and balance of spices is excellent with chicken (unbeatable when doing comp chicken thighs), and even at half strength for 1-2 hours, it makes for a moist flavorful finished product. I recently saw a post of someone using it on pork tenderloin - have to try this next
