Sometimes factors that we may not have at the beginning, such as the Kelley Blue Book value of the vehicle you are refinancing, can impact the final rate. I'm a loan advisor for a car dealership, I recommend my customers to go to Open Road Lending all the time. Although I do not have a loan with them none of my customers have ever called me back complaining. I've assumed from that they were happy with the service they received. Thanks for your comments Scott and I am sorry we were not able to offer you a rate that met your expectations. Regarding the credit pull. OpenRoad does not do a hard inquiry only a soft. Even with a hard inquiry, scores typically only fall between 3 to 5 points. The following article may be helpful (https://www.myfico.com/credit-education/credit-reports/credit-checks-and-inquiries ) myfico states that the biggest driver in anyone’s credit score is paying their bills on time and then not consuming too much of your available credit. Credit inquiries by lenders are far down are far down the list and have a small impact.
