This gi was bought for a teammate and he loves it. Fits great, didn't really shrink. Just a great gi!

Origin gis are the best fitting gis I've ever had. The swivel lock belts are much better than the traditional string and it never comes loose. The jackets are lightweight but still very strong. Another home run by the origin team. Best of all it's made in Murica!

This is top of the line equipment for jiu jitsu enthusiasts. The Axiom is lightweight and VERY sturdy. After washing, it only takes about 4 hours to hang dry. Shrinkage is minimal compared to other gi's. The Axiom has silverwyck injection as well and it is worth every penny. It's antimicrobial properties really does what they claim. I have left my gi in my gym bag after heavy training for 3 days! When I dug it out, it didn't even smell musty at all. I pulled out my rashguard from the same bag and it stunk pretty bad.
I would recomend Origin over any brand I have ever tried. And if you have questions or concerns you can call them on the phone and they bend over backwards to help insure you have a great experience.

The kimono is prefect in every way. From the weave. To the cut. To the beautiful embroidery. But most of all I love that it is made in the USA.

When I started my BJJ journey at the age of 42, I was much older than the average beginner in my first class. My instructor had an Origin Gi on and I thinking, man I love that logo design. Not long after that, I started researching Gi's and Gi manufacturing. I was immediately sold on Origin (though it would take some time for me to purchase my first). As a veteran Firefighter for more than 21 years, I take pride in my work, which I feel is very American. That was the primary reason for purchasing my first Origin Gi. I knew nothing about its fit or finish, not to mention the differences in the weaves. All I knew is that by supporting this company, I was supporting American workers trying to support their families. Now I have 8 Origin Gi's, 6 for me and 2 for my boys, all of work far exceed my expectations. The Gold Label exceeds even those. The craftmanship is second to none, with the detail to the stitching impeccable. The fit is as thought I flew to Maine, had it custom tailored, and then shipped back to me. The Gold stitching and Origin Logo explode off of the deep black color. Quite simply, it is the finest Gi I have ever seen.

The Origin Axiom gold label 5th anniversary is gorgeous. I am 6'0, 205, and normally wear a 33x32 in jeans. I bought an A3 kimono with 36 waist/28 inseam pants (pay attention to the sizing chart and, if in doubt, ask Pete or one of the folks at Origin!). The pants fit like they're tailored, the kimono top is comfortably light and, given my experience with a 2016 Axiom I previously purchased, the durability will ensure the gi keeps on going for hundreds (or thousands) of rolls. I'm extremely happy with this gi, and look forward to purchasing an Origin Redeemer gi in the coming months so I can compare the Axiom's weave with Origin's gorilla weave gi's.

I'm a proud owner of the Black Ops, Black Gold Label, and the Liberty gis from Origin as well as the Apache and White Ops gis from Warrior. Out of all kimonos I've worn/owned the Origin has been the most comfortable and has last the longest.

I own almost every weave of gi made much against my wife's approval. I have to say this is the most comfortable and easy to move in gi I've ever owned. I get comments all the time on the look of the weave and the lines their sowing pattern makes. Everything Origin makes is original and won't be found elsewhere. The quality is second to none like their customer service. Spend the extra cash it takes and you'll be thoroughly impressed!

I am currently a purple belt in BJJ and lifelong martial arts practitioner. When I needed a new gi, I decided I wanted to try an Origin and see just how good they are. I very much thought this gi would be better than any other I have owned, but only marginally so. I did not think it would live up to the hype. I bought it because I needed a new one and I wanted to support an American gi smith. Having finally received it and rolled in it, I can say the hype is very real. Thank you Origin for making a superb product. You really are changing the game.

Me: 5' 6.5"... 160lbs... athletic build...I am always between gi sizes- A1 usually ends around 155-160 lbs and 5'6"-5'7"

Appearance-
The gold label axiom is truly artwork. With the inlaid picture of the old Bates Mill, the beautiful gold on black cotton blossom, this gi is gorgeous. The craftsmanship is fantastic. From the weave itself to the stitching, everything is top notch. The dragonweave just looks amazingly cool.

Fit and Feel-
The feel of the gi is a bit rough until after the first wash- after that it feels much like other gi's against the skin; except slightly more sturdy and slightly softer at the same time. The fit is perfect for me. I often find myself in between sizes A1 and A2. I decided to go with an A2 to be safe. This gi is more of a performance fit than a standard gi, so the A2 is better on me than a normal A2. The sleeves are right at the wrist and the skirt is just past the hips- so I might be able to fit in an A1 for competition, but this gi feels great. The pants are weird to put on for the first time, it's awkward not sliding into the usual trash bag pants and cinching them up. The ripstop type of weave is very sturdy and I was worried that they would be a bit constrictive when rolling. Just walking around in them they feel very nice, but I was worried the tighter fit would inhibit hip and knee flexion, so vital to the guard. The pant cuff ends right at my ankle.

Performance-
All worries are laid to rest after one roll. I forget the gi is even on me- which is exactly what you want. Unlike my other gi's which actually do grab at my knees and hips once I get sweaty, this gi allows me to flow completely free from any binding or grabbing. The swivellock belt and the contoured fit around your waist are amazing while rolling. There is no excess material to hinder your movement- and as a plus there is less material for your opponent to grab. Grabbing the dragonweave top is actually pretty easy for your opponent. the material is fairly soft- slightly softer feeling than any gold or pearl weave I've had- and the cuff actually give your opponent a bit of an edge to feel.

From the quality of material to the functional design. This Gi has definitely changed my training experience. The gi is lightweight with a difficult to grip collar and gives you a range of motion like I haven't had in another Gi. The price is a little high but without a doubt you get what you pay for in this kimono.

Stella is almost 5 years old and is excited to start her training in her awesome new pink gi! Pink is her favorite color, and the quality of craftsmanship is superb and sure to give her years of use. I ordered the smallest gi available, but Stella is pretty small. A quick roll of the sleeves andpant cuffs solved the problem. She will grow into this gi, and I'm sure she'll be getting a blue Prodigy gi next time. Customer service was great. This particular logo color scheme gi was out of stock but the folks at origin assured me it'd be here for Christmas and also gave me the option of another similar gi. I decided to wait and Origin made good on their promise.

The Origin Axiom is by far the best, most comfortable gi I ever worn.

I bought multiple gi's and could never find a size that fit me right between the top and pants. When I contacted Origin I spoke with Pete and he told me that (with Origin) you buy the size top and pants that fit you based on things I understand like weight and jean size (wow). In one conversation I realized how impossible it would be to buy a gi that fit when you just get whatever pants might fit the top. How does the industry even do this? Imagine buying a shirt and the store just handing you the jeans that "Go" with that shirt??? So I loved the fitting process.

Then I got the gi and it was in a totally different class than the others I owned. Way softer but obviously more durable and reinforced WAY better. Most comfortable gi I have even been around.

Even after that, what's most telling about the product is how many people in my gym have ordered one since I got mine, and the longer list of others who "are definitely getting one next"! I even ordered a gold label right after I got this one because I was so impressed.

Great fit, quality, feel, American made, customer service, the list goes on and I'm sure others will say the same.

I've owned an Origin Kimono (mist) for about six months now, and I have to say it's by far my favorite and most comfortable kimono I have. The design stands alone! With low key and subtle patches (which I like), the feel, quality, and attention to detail is something that will keep me coming back for years to come. Plus it's MADE IN AMERICA!
