OutOfAir Replacement FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer Upper Gasket Assembly Replaces Item T910-00075 - 2 Pack
I HAVE INSTALLED THE NEW GASKETS BUT HAVE NOT SEALED ANY THING YET WITH THE NEW GASKETS. QUESTION IS I PURCHASED THE “V2490” UNIT ON NOVEMBER 24, 2007. WE CLEAN IT REGULARLY WITH IVORY LIQUID DISH DETERGENT AND THE BLACK PLASTIC AREAS HAVE BECOME VERY STICKY TO THE TOUCH INSIDE AND OUT. IS THERE ANY PRODUCT YOU WOULD RECOMMEND WE USE TO CLEAN IT OR TO REMOVE THE STICKINESS?

Tried other bags in the past that didn’t work well. These bags are the best! I’ve used three sizes and all work great, not a single problem. Will definitely buy more bags in the future.

These are some of the best bags I have used that were not from FoodSaver. At a fraction of the price, they are durable, convenient, and have the write-on label area I find very useful in the freezer. The only issues I have had with the is that you have to go slow when sealing multiple bags. If not, the residual heat in the sealer strip will melt the bag and prevent vacuum. So you do have to be patient. THink of it as the time you save by not making bags from a roll.
